From heartfelt tributes to Disney’s legendary songwriters to never-before-seen artifacts and cutting-edge storytelling, Main Street, U.S.A. is about to become even more magical.
A Musical Tribute at the Main Street Cinema
A visit to the Main Street Cinema will transport guests into the world of the Sherman Brothers, the iconic duo behind some of Disney’s most beloved songs. A brand-new short film, “The Last Verse,” will debut, honoring the 60th anniversary of It’s a Small World. This touching three-and-a-half-minute film, featuring the final verse penned by Richard M. Sherman, carries a message of unity and hope, continuing the legacy of one of Disney’s most enduring songs.
For the first time ever, this new verse will also be added to the It’s a Small World attraction, making its debut on July 17.
The New Third Verse:

Step Into Disney History at the Main Street Opera House
Disneyland’s Opera House is transforming into an immersive gallery celebrating Walt Disney’s vision, the park’s evolution, and the groundbreaking technology that made it all possible.
New Exhibits Include:
- The Evolution of Disneyland: Rare artwork, images, and artifacts from Disneyland’s early days, curated by Walt Disney Imagineering and the Walt Disney Archives.
- The Story of Audio-Animatronics: A behind-the-scenes look at the technology Walt pioneered, showcasing its incredible advancements from the past to the present.
- Treasures from Walt Disney’s Apartment: For the first time ever, personal items from Walt’s private apartment above the Main Street Fire Station—including his rocking chair, lamp, and table—will be on display.
- Walt’s Humanitarian Legacy: Prestigious awards such as Walt’s 1955 Emmy, his Presidential Medal of Freedom (1964), and the Walt Disney Commemorative Medal (1969) will be available for guests to view, thanks to a special collaboration with The Walt Disney Family Museum.
Experience “Walt Disney – A Magical Life”
A brand-new cinematic experience, “Walt Disney – A Magical Life,” will debut at the Opera House, immersing guests in Walt’s incredible journey through remastered footage, personal recordings, and an Audio-Animatronic portrayal of Walt himself. This innovative storytelling experience brings Walt’s wisdom and imagination to life in an entirely new way.
Following its initial run, “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” will return, sharing the Opera House stage in rotation.

A life long thrill seeker, Berry Place 28 has always been captivated by entertainment and theme parks. BP28 was a former Cast Member for Disney, many years ago, who now enjoys vlogging at Disneyland and covering the history, rides and attractions that Walt Disney created. In addition, he enjoys covering Knott’s Berry Farm, SeaWorld, and other theme parks and local attractions. Berry Place 28 was named after the “Berry Place” market that Walter and Cordelia Knott opened in 1928 and after Mickey Mouse which was created in 1928.
