This special showcase features music, food, art, and storytelling that honor Black artists and traditions, creating an immersive and inspiring experience for visitors of all ages.

Celebrate Gospel at Disneyland Park A beloved tradition for over a decade, Celebrate Gospel returns with two uplifting concerts on February 8 and February 15, 2025. The event features powerful performances by renowned gospel artists and talented community choirs from across Southern California, each bringing their own unique sound and energy.

Featured Artists

  • DOE – A six-time Grammy-nominated, two-time Dove Award-winning singer-songwriter-musician whose pure vocals and soul-stirring lyrics redefine gospel music. DOE will perform on February 8.
  • Melvin Crispell III – With four Grammy nominations, six Stellar Award nominations, and four Dove Award nominations, Melvin delivers a message of hope through his gospel artistry. He will perform on February 15.

  • Parkside Market – Sip & Sonder – Try the Nod to Nicaud, a cold brew coffee inspired by Rose Nicaud, a trailblazing Black entrepreneur in New Orleans’ coffee scene.
  • Lovepop – Purchase the Black is Beautiful Pop-Up Card, designed by artist Anthony Conley. Fifty percent of each sale supports The Conscious Kid, an organization promoting equity and racial identity development in youth.

A life long thrill seeker, Berry Place 28 has always been captivated by entertainment and theme parks. BP28 was a former Cast Member for Disney, many years ago, who now enjoys vlogging at Disneyland and covering the history, rides and attractions that Walt Disney created. In addition, he enjoys covering Knott’s Berry Farm, SeaWorld, and other theme parks and local attractions. Berry Place 28 was named after the “Berry Place” market that Walter and Cordelia Knott opened in 1928 and after Mickey Mouse which was created in 1928.
