Disneylanders, the wait is almost over! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and the re-named land, “Bayou Country,” are almost ready to open to the public.

As announced at the D23 Expo in August, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will officially open on November 15, 2024. And while lots of Magic Key holders and Disneyland fans quickly snapped up reservations for that day, many will get to ride well before that day.

Cast Member previews were announced and then a couple weeks later, Magic Key preview days were released. Beginning October 21, Magic Key holders with a valid reservation will be eligible to get a Virtual Queue for select times. Preview days and hours each day vary and are subject to availability. Magic Key holders can enter the virtual queue starting at 7am on preview days, with a second chance happening again at noon. Magic Key holders can obtain one virtual queue per preview day.

Cordy in California was onsite on Monday, October 14, where we got a look at some of the outdoor queue and entrance building. Check out her report at the video below.

In addition to the ride preview, Magic Key holders can pick up a free Tiana’s Bayou Adventure poster. No virtual queue is necessary for the poster, which can be obtained near the entrance to Galaxy’s Edge toward Fantasyland. Posters are only available on preview days, but be sure to check, just in case they have them on non-preview days.

Beginning October 21, Magic Key holders with a valid theme park reservation will be eligible to get a Virtual Queue for select times.

As part of the addition of Tiana’s bayou Adventure, parts of the former Critter Country will be re-themed to characters from “The Princess and the Frog”. Louis’ Critter Club will take over a portion of the Winnie the Pooh store known as Pooh Corner and is scheduled to open on November 13.

Hungry Bear Restaurant is being renamed Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree and have some mild Country Bears theming. The menu will be converted to a traditional barbecue line up.

All of us at Park Streamers are excited to finally get to ride the re-imagined Splash Mountain! Be sure to follow Cordy in California, Berry Place 28 and me, Theme Park Casual as each of us will be in the parks at different times trying to get a virtual queue.

See you at the parks!
